This is the weekly roundup of new features or bugs fixed on the site.
This week we added some new features that were well overdue.
- The Market Place (Classifieds) - This feature allows persons who provide event related services to find new business leads. Its pretty straight forward, you post Items for sale or services you provide; select the appropriate category and hit save. You can also post photos/company logo, etc to go along with you listing.
- Share Event Photos - This feature was long overdue, as a part of our drive to make this website a social one. The ability for our users to share photos they have of events was important, the code to allow this was just completed so now when you browse the details of an event you will see the option to share your photos. (This feature is separate from the event creator being able to post pictures from his/her events).
- User Bar - Locate on a users home page the userbar is a 350x19px image, showing how many friend a user has on our website. This bar can be used in signatures on forums, blogs, emails, etc.
Working On - User Event Reviews - about 80% complete this feature will allow users to write reviews of events they have attended, not to be confused with a simple comment. The Review feature will give more details about events including, entertainment, food & drink, staff, parking, etc.
